What if we could snap our fingers like Mary Poppins and fix everything?

There’d be no poverty, no abuse and no inequality. The word “struggle” wouldn’t exist in our online dictionaries, and we’d have no need for loans, doctors, donation bins or even police officers (no crime!). Wow, that would be quite a world.

News flash—this world doesn’t exist [yet]!! God made a glorious, incredible, amazing Creation with creatures and people who are selfish, impatient and flawed. And we can’t just *snap our fingers* and make everything shiny, perfect, and fixed. But God can. God has given us tools to learn and grow (Bible, each other), experience (the entire World and activities), and to live (everything and everywhere) to figure out how to be God’s “fixers.” We don’t have to have all of the answers and we don’t have to fix it all, but we DO have to keep our eyes, ears, hearts and hands OPEN to what God is showing us and instructing us to do. And God is the ultimate FIXER, so all of the pressure lies in leaning on God. Nice, right?

From Hebrews 12:2 — Fix your eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of our faith, who for the sake of the joy that was set before him endured the cross, disregarding its shame, and has taken his seat at the right hand of the throne of God.
