Wow, there’s so much going on! The sun is shining and Spring is being awesome.

How was your break? Looking around God’s beautiful Earth is always fun, and so is having a moment to do breathe. Even though your Spring Break is over, be sure and take moments to be with God and breathe in the fresh air from our humongous Oregon trees. It’s so refreshing!

Ever wondered what this cross is? seal pcusa

It’s the Seal of The Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.)!

Image result for parts of the presbyterian cross

There are 8 primary symbols within the cross, but you might see others, too. (Doesn’t the “pulpit” image remind you of a robe, like Joseph’s Coat of Many Colors?)

  • What other symbols do you see in this cross (referred to as a “seal”)?
  • How are symbols like this important for our faith journey? Does it help us connect with God and with God’s creation? Does it give good reminders when we see it?

Have an amazing week! Be kind to one another! Related image(Ellen DeGeneres says this a lot, but it’s also in the Bible: Ephesians 4:32.)
